Advisory Council Advisory Council Conference 2008 The third National Advisory Council Conference was held in the Lyrath Hotel in Kilkenny on the 18th Sept 2008. The theme of this years non-technical conference was: "Valuing our Waters" Conference Presentations Dr. John Feehan, UCD lecturer, author and broadcaster OPEN Mark Horton and Maura Johnston Ballinderry River Enahncement Project, Co. Tyrone OPEN Molly Reynolds, Creevy Experience, Co. Donegal OPEN Tom Egan, Lough Boora Parklands, Co. Offaly OPEN Closing Address: Dick Warner River Basin District Advisory Council (RBDAC) acts as a permanent forum for direct dialogue and interaction between interested parties and the relevant public authorities. Its members are councillors, community representatives and stakeholders.
